Level 2 Certificate in Sewerage Maintenance

This qualification pairs with the Water network knowledge pathway. To achieve the full certificate, the learner must complete four units including two mandatory units, plus one unit from Option Group 1, and one from Option Group 2. Mandatory:

  • Ensure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety in the water industry
  • Communicate information for sewerage maintenance operations

    • Option Group 1 – 1 unit must be taken from this group:

  • Monitor asses using CCTV equipment
  • Restore sewers and ancillaries to a working condition
  • Carry out inspection and maintenance of sewers and ancillaries

    • Option Group 2 – 1 unit must be taken from this group:

  • Install equipment for safe working on the highway for utilities network construction
  • Install equipment for safe working on sites for utilities network construction
