Watertrain builds on success

Warrington-based company Watertrain is going from strength to strength. This North West success story is the main provider of technical training and qualification programmes to the water sector across the UK and demand for its services is growing.

Watertrain continues to be successful in securing contracts with water companies across the country, with a particular demand for their specialist training services in the North East and Southern England.

The majority of this new business involves the delivery of the new Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard – Water Process Technician. As a result of the increasing need for its services, Watertrain has invested in a new website for their clients, and is looking to expand its team of specialist trainers and assessors.

“We are on the lookout for people with a real passion for the water industry to pass on their knowledge, skills and experience of the industry to newcomers and existing employees alike,” explains Watertrain founder Neil Davies.

Industry professionals with experience of water treatment, waste water treatment, water distribution and the waste water network are amongst those that Watertrain is hoping will join their team. Though experience of delivering training is desirable, it is not essential, and Watertrain will provide the training and support necessary for successful candidates to obtain the relevant classroom teaching and assessment qualifications.

These new roles represent a great opportunity for water industry personnel to take a new step in their careers, interested candidates should send their CV and contact details to opportunities@watertrain.co.uk. For more information about Watertrain log on to their new website at www.watertrain.co.uk and view the opportunities on their vacancies page.
